Channel Members

Channel members are the participants who have been granted access to a specific channel within the network. Channel members can be added from the Channel Members page, or while creating a Channel.

A channel member can also be removed from the Channel by the Channel Admin which will revoke all access to the channel. Please note just because an Organization is part of the Network doesn't mean that Organization is part of all the channels. One can only get access to a channel when permission is set explicitly.

An organization with the ONLY active orderer cannot be removed from the channel as there should be at least one Orderer present in the channel.
